Your Google Ads account. Your name on it.

We run your ads inside an account your clinic owns, and you pay Google directly. This guide shows you how to set up that account and give us access. Most of it takes one sitting.

How it fits together

You own it. We manage it.

Fully Booked Clinics is part of SEO Pages, so our access request reaches you under the name SEO Pages. We use a Google manager account, which lets our team work in your account without your password.

Other clients in our manager account cannot see your account, and you cannot see theirs.
Part 1 of 3

Create your account.

Skip this part if you already have an account. The drawings below are simplified, and Google changes its screens from time to time, so look for the words rather than the exact layout.

1

Choose the Google sign-in your clinic will keep

Use a shared address such as info@ or admin@ at your clinic. A staff member's personal Gmail causes trouble when that person leaves.

You can register any email address as a Google account. Turn on 2-Step Verification while you are there.

Example addresses only.
2

Start at ads.google.com

Type the address into your browser and select the option to start or sign up. Enter your clinic's name and website.

Google may offer to link a YouTube channel or Business Profile. Skip it for now, and we will handle links with you later.

A: continue. B: skip the linking offer.
3

Skip the campaign

Google will suggest a first campaign. Decline it, because we build yours after we have checked your tracking.

  • Look for Create an account without a campaign, or skip each recommendation.
  • If you only see a campaign form, look for Switch to Expert Mode at the bottom of the screen. The skip option usually follows.
  • If you end up in a campaign anyway, stop before you publish it and book a call.
A: the option you want. Google often shows it as small text low on the page.
4

Add your billing details

  • Billing country: United Kingdom.
  • Time zone: London. Your reports and billing use it, so check it before you submit.
  • Currency: British pounds, if Google asks. Check it now, as you may not be able to change it later.
  • Account type: Organisation.
  • Legal name and address: copy them from your registration documents, because Google may ask you to prove them.

Add your payment method and submit. Google may take a small refundable payment to check it. Your ad costs start only when a campaign goes live.

A: match your registration documents, including "Ltd". B: yours, never ours.
5

Copy your 10-digit Customer ID

You will find it at the top right of the screen, next to your account name. It looks like 123-456-7890. Copy it, then carry on to part 2.

The ID identifies your account and gives nobody access by itself, so you can email it.

A: your Customer ID. The number shown is an example.
Part 2 of 3

Give us access.

You need Admin access on the account, because only an Admin can approve our request. You never send us a password or card number.

1

Send us your Customer ID

Email it to hello@seopages.co.uk using this message. We then send a link request from the SEO Pages manager account.

Subject: Google Ads access for [clinic name]

Our Google Ads Customer ID is [123-456-7890].
Clinic website: [address]
Admin on the account: [name and email]

Please send the link request.
2

Accept our request from the email

Google emails your account's Admin an invitation naming SEO Pages. Select Accept request.

To be safe, you can skip the email button and sign in at ads.google.com yourself, then follow step 3. Check with us if a request names any other company.

A: approve the link. Google's wording may differ from this drawing.
3

Or accept inside your account

Use this if you cannot find the email.

  • Open the Admin menu and select Access and security.
  • Select the Managers tab.
  • Find SEO Pages under Link request and select Accept in the Actions column.

Google sends you a confirmation email, and the link is live.

Follow A, B, C, D in order.
4

Backup: invite us by email

We will only ask for this if the link request does not work.

  • Open Admin, then Access and security, then the Users tab.
  • Select the plus button.
  • Enter the email address we give you, and choose Standard.
  • Select Send invitation.
Standard lets us edit campaigns but not manage your users or links.

If an old agency or colleague controls the account

Ask them to invite your clinic's shared email as an Admin. Keep the account if you can, because it holds your campaign history. Tell us who runs it and we will draft the request with you.

If you want a hand

Book a 30-minute screen share and we will do it with you. We can also start the account from our manager account and invite you as Admin, after which you add your own payment details.

Part 3 of 3

Run it together.

Once the link is live, we do the campaign work. Your clinic keeps the jobs only an owner should hold.

Your clinic

  • Keeps at least one Admin on the account
  • Pays Google and keeps the payment method up to date
  • Completes advertiser verification if Google asks
  • Decides the budget

Our team

  • Builds your campaigns in your account
  • Verifies enquiry tracking before anything launches
  • Changes search terms, bids and budget each month
  • Reviews your landing page each month

Who at your clinic gets which access

Access levelWhat they can doGood for

Read onlyView campaigns, reports and billing. No campaign changesPractice manager

If Google asks you to verify your clinic

Google asks many advertisers to confirm who they are, and healthcare can bring extra checks. Only an Admin can complete it. Open Billing, then Advertiser verification, then Start task.

Expect to provide organisation documents and possibly photo ID. The names on them must match your payments profile. Tell us the day you see a request: Google pauses accounts that miss a deadline, and review can take five working days.

If you stop working with us

Open Admin, then Access and security, then Managers, and select Remove access next to SEO Pages. An Admin can do this at any time.

You keep the account, its campaigns and its history. Your payment method stays with you too, so pause or edit any live campaigns if you want the spend to stop.

Three things we never ask for

Your Google password, your card number, or a payment for ad spend into our bank account. If a message asks for any of these, it did not come from us. Email hello@seopages.co.uk before you act on it.
